Think we can expect limited time for the regulars being that the real season starts so soon?

Doubt it. There are only 25 Hawks left with Campbell out.

Should be a full line up I would think from both teams tonight. Plus the teams do not like each other.

I don't understand why NHL rosters are cut so soon. Tonight's game is mostly meaningless, and it would be nice to ice a team of AHL players.

Exhibition games are also a way for the vets to get into game shape.

The season starts Thursday. They're in game shape.

The Hawks played fewer exhibition games last year. Seemed to not hurt their start.

Here's to hoping Scott seriously maims Janssen.

+1

Too bad Jackman isn't still there.

Glad to see people are finally starting to come around on Scott. He could turn out to be a bargain at $500,000 if he keeps playing his role. It's really fun to watch him hit as well.

RK with some screen time.

Jeez I hope we don't get that camera shot all year.

God, I certainly hope Vishnevskiy shows some good development in Rockford this season and maybe even enough to warrant some call-up consideration.

ETA: Or Lalonde. Whichever.

I haven't met RK, but I've probably seen enough photos of him here to recognize him on TV. I'd bet $5 that he is wearing a Seabrook jersey.

By the way, championship rings are ugly, regardless of the sport. If I was a player and needed cash after retirement, I'd sell mine for as much as I could.

It's like wearing an expensive beer can on your hand.

It looked like Conklin was worried about the Hawks in front of him. Great shot.
