Beach Scored...

She could be rooting for him too. Children are often confused.

So why isn't anyone using the chat tonight?

Penguin radio announcers had praise for Beach, calling him a real "goal scorer"; "good hands"; knew to go for the empty net with the one-timer.

For as much as they charge for center ice, they should include the preseason games so that we can rip them off for free.

4-1 Pens.

Shame sounded like Seabrook knocked in the last two Pens goals. Then broke his stick.

She text me and said the new rink in Pittsburgh is awesome.

If you watch the replay on NHL network she was sitting in the front row to the left of the goal the hawks shot at twice. Malkin scored, Beach scored. Was a perfect night for her.

Only thing that went wrong was PK didnt recognize her (as long as that was PK at the game LOL)

Least she recognized him![/quote]

She was disappointed he didn't remember her. He's like royalty around here.

So much for using my Sabres tix this year LOL

They drove down for the game since he missed the one on Saturday.

Plus he wanted to see the new building. I declined!

I'll make sure to let him know who the crazy girl was tomorrow.

We didnt have much offense playing tonight I expected them to lose.

I did not expect Seabrook to score two goals on toivenen though. Rough.

For reals! lol Holy crap I just saw the results and no lie it sounds like Seabrook was fucking BRUTAL there in the 3rd. Eh, pre-season.

Team as a whole sounds like they were a Hot. Fucking. Mess. Period. It's a sad game indictment and sure sign of utter team clusterfuckery goings on when Kyle Beach is the ONLY player with a positive +/- for the night while most others were negative and rounding it out with a few coming in at even "0". No wonder what I just read said Q was pleased with nothing that went on out there. Eh, pre-season.

No Makarov I see. Hope he's still up here on the roster come Friday and gets to play some decent minutes.

Stayed up to watch the game, and it was probably the sloppiest hawks game I've seen in a while. Bad passes, absolutely no puck support, had tons of trouble breaking out of our own zone. Richards totally fucked up the second goal but made some pretty good saves, Toivonen looked good too. Early on it looked like the hawks were gonna score a couple but Brent Johnson made some really big saves as he usually does against us.

This exactly. I liked both goaltenders (trust me, it takes a lot for me to admit Toivonen played well).... while watching the game I was about to go to bed after the 2nd period, but with Toivonen in net I stayed up and said "I wonder how much of a train wreak the two goals he allowed were". Not bad at all though, not his fault. I thought Richards made some huge saves as well and kept the Hawks in the game despite the crappy 2nd goal (which was tipped anyway). He looked like he might have a future, just work on those kinks in Rockford and maybe one day he'll have a chance. I liked the way he played the puck - more confident in Richards playing the puck rather than any goaltender in the organization the past 3 years besides Turco.

The only thing about Richards that I didn't like was how early he went down on some shots, most notably the second goal. I like that he slides into shots cause that can really help with rebound control and getting those rebounds into the corners but the second goal was a perfect example of what happens if he goes down too early.

Not a very entertaining game for me.

Nice to see Beach with the tap in. The Dowell fight was "meh".

I was there, and wow was Seabrook pissed. Felt badly for him. After the second one, he turned around and slammed his stick on the goal.

ETA: Kane, Seabrook, and Campbell all wore "A"s for the game.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I'm just glad that the 'hawks got that level of clusterfuckery out of their system in the preseason.

Better now than in May.
