I laughed at that. As a team the rookies have not played 60 minutes two games in a row. I will be glad to get some starters going for a couple of games before the season starts. Let Rockford have their players back. Especially CULLIMORE!

And yea Rex Skille left after he was just thoroughly man handled causing the 3rd goal. Never came back. Looked like his shoulder.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Cullisuck on the team on the opening night. Mainly as the Boynton replacement who will be sitting that one out. Then I hope he gets shuttled back to Rockford doubletime. If he stays then I will start questioning if Q has all his marbles in place. Obviously I hope Cullisuck never sees any action the whole time he is Hawks property.

Come on my main man, Maiden. I don't like Skille at all but he's played incredibly well the LIMITED TIME he's getting again in pre-season and from what I heard he had a strong camp as far as scrimmages go.

I miss the Arena....

And I think someone should remind the Blues fans how many times they've won the Stanley Cup.

I'm not sure most can count that high though.

Empty netter. I feel there will be a different outcome on Sunday.

Hossa, Toews, Kane, Sharp, Bolland, Seabrook, Keith, Campbell.....[/quote]

That's such a weak argument, sine the Hawks lead that series 1-0 after their (Blues) inception in 1967 (which I'll take, since it was the Hawks...haha!). So approximately 90 years of futility between two teams with a fresh cup win from last season.

As far as Sunday is concerned, let's keep the young faces rolling on lines. We know what to expect from the core. The regular season series should be won handily by the Hawks.

they've never won it in the HISTORY of their Franchise. It's not a weak argument. Remind me the last time they were even CLOSE to it. Same goes for Canuck fans.

As for Sunday and young guys not a fucking chance. You need to use the last two preseason games to get your CORE guys going. Get them on lines and start finding that chemistry again.

Get them used to being back on the ice consistently. Full line up both nights for the most part. Except those roles that are still in question, IE Stahlberg, Morin, Skille, ect ect.

The rest, back to Rockford.

I am well aware of their history in the NHL.

If we're going to split hairs, they made it to the finals the first 3 seasons they were in the league-- although, their division was all made of the second 6.

Their playoff run lasted longer than the Hawks impressive run. Was it 29 years in a row? They also were stopped short from an impressive run in 2001.

Still, like I said-- 1-0 is the lead after 1967. At least you can say that.
