you don't get used to Cincinnati chili on one try...Cincinnati's a cool little area...and we are more like them than we should be....longterm old owners trying to keep it in the family with a suffering fanbase...only diff is they have stuck by their coach longterm

So how long are the starters playing for tonight? I'd like to see at least a quarter but prolly only a few series.

I never viewed chili as a very appetizing food, even at its best.

Chili is like any stewed food, in that it is either great, "okay" or shit, with absolutely no degrees in between. The problem a lot of people have with their chili is the same they have with every other stew, in that everything in it ends up tasting the same and there isn't a lot of depth of flavor (hence it being just okay).

But great chili is fantastic, and mastering it is a testament to your value as an American.

You ever had real chile con carne? Beef, reconstituted New Mexico peppers (or the like), onion, cumin, salt and pepper. Simple, just basically two great ingredients, no beans or other fillers.

I've spent half of my life in Ohio and I can confirm: the chili is hot garbage. Ten minutes later it is cold garbage

I lived in the Nati for four years. Good city, up and coming food scene, and very beautiful, but really shit chili.

There is no better reason to shit on Ohio than fucking skyline chili.

And I like Ohio. But skyline just needs to go out of business. Chili is fine over spaghetti, but you gotta make good chili.

Isn't this the game the starters play 1 or 2 series?
