Google is hacked like crazy LOL. Except the motives are different than people who just want to deface the site. People hack google to mess with search results to cheat money off idiot searchers, all the time! Google can't keep up with it, and they tolerate most of it.

Chrome while a better browser isn't the answer, it has the same errors you'd get. It's the site. It's not on us to find a way around malware installed on a site.
