I will probably be bashed here, but what is wrong with the 360?

My point being, I use my PS3 for exclusive PS3 games... basically all of those listed in the 2nd post here. There are 2-3 PS3 exclusives every year that are great (aside from MLB The Show, which is a must buy every year). And then, it's my blu-ray player.

My PC gets the same treatment. I play PC games that are exclusives (i stay away from MMO's tho). Civ 5, Starcraft, the Witcher, and some mystery gamesetc.

My Xbox 360 gets the most play, tho. The most games, the most options, a much better online system then PS3 (although you have to pay), and billion more friends on Xbox.

Anyways, I guess my point is that from someone who is a gamer on most systems (i sold my Wii, have a DS and PSP), each system offers unique games and capabilities.

I really have no problems with the 360. Like you said, better online system. But I'm confused about the part where you said "The most games, the most options". The vast majority of games are on both consoles, but taking away both consoles motion games, are there really more options on the 360 than PS3? I have trouble naming other 360 big exclusives other than Halo, Gears, Forza and Fable. Alan Wake?

True, I'm not really talking about exclusives.. and honestly, the PS3 exclusives blow the 360 exclusives out of the water. (although there are a lot more Xbox exclusives over PS3. Check out the RPG universe, there are a lot of JRPG's for Xbox only)

I will have to admit that most of it comes from XBox Live. It is an obvious upgrade over the PS3, but my games run smoother on Xbox. PS3 has better graphics, if used correctly, but a lot of developers have a hard time transferring their work over to the PS3 hardware. Check out most reviews for games out for both systems. Choppiness and slow downs run rampant on the PS3. Unless the game was made for the PS3's hardware, it is usually choppier for the PS3.

Either way, I take advantage of what every console has to offer. I enjoy all gaming systems, except for the Wii. :)

That's the best way to take things. I push people towards the 360 if all they want to do is play games with friends like COD or Halo or whatever. I myself am more of a lone gamer, so I stuck with the PS3. Plus having Blu-Ray is really nice.

I have a Wii, but it collects dust. I could probably sell it, but I like playing Mario Kart, old SNES/N64 games from the Virtual Console and bit.trip Runner every once in a while. I do hate their motion controls though.

Yah, I'm not big into the motion controls. I've tried them all... but their is a reason that the Wii's has been out forever and there are no great games for it..... it is limited. If I had a family with kids, I might think different... most of those games are kid-friendly.

And trust me, I'm a lone-gamer too. RPGS and sports games for me, all day. Nonetheless, I'm Xbox all day long, unless I'm playing a PS3 exclusive :)
