So it's a bit funny that a few posters think that creating a habit of following users, organizing dislike-rep attacks on users, not just on a mod(but really, what a bonehead move that really brought it to our attention, in a system that we can see all the comments as they aren't private from the staff). Apparently that is not antagonizing users, and for whatever reason they should have had their hands held and not been banned without a warning(when we have asked users not to dislike bomb and rep farm multiple times in the past, also posts that were read by some of the guilty party here). Sorry no, we're not stupid and none of us are going to tolerate users that decide to find every loophole possible to antagonize users(which is clearly written there in rule #1.)
It's just a select few users that are ruining it for the rest. Having a handful of users post a lot is still just traffic from a handful of users. Having many users visit the site is real traffic. Using a roadway analogy, if a car or multiple cars are driving in circles on the highway to create traffic, that doesn't mean the roads are getting more of the traffic they want, that means some idiots are creating congestion for the rest to drive around.
And another point that was brought up. The users also said they were bringing up a point that they were demonstrating a flaw in the rep system. Well, the rep system here is vbulletin's default reputation system. So I guess if they want it fixed, they need to go to vbulletin.org to fight their good fight. BS meter is through the roof on that comment. But whatever, benefit of the doubt, if they want to fix the problem and are genuine, then go to the vbulletin developers.
