Having said that, she took that shot like a champ! Hmmm, might be used to getting knocked like that if she can get up that quick from a blast of that magnitude. No glass jaw on that *****.



Home skillet would have been best served to just grab ass by that nasty weave and bounced her off the bus, meaning out the doh ho. Someone like her is not worth losing your job over. Safe to assume her employer has seen this by now and she may end up in the unemployment line with ol righty.

Neither of them acted appropriately and they should both spend time in the box. I don't get where people develop these fuckin alpha dog personalities where they need to dominate people physically. I've walked away from 5 or 6 fights as an adult. It just isn't worth it, and I don't know where people get it in their heads that it is. Whatever results from it can destroy your life. Not talking about clear cut self defense, but bullshit just like this, where somebody probably said something, and now it needs to ultimately be answered with violence apparently.



I am actually pretty sickened by what alot of the people are saying in the comments, considering they are to facebook and not exactly anonymous. Everyones ready to rear up and beat somebodies ass for doing that.



Newsflash, everybody isnt an undefeated UFC fighter. If someone does something stupid to you and you feel the need to escalate you may be the one that ends up getting your teeth sent through the back of your head.



I don't spend my days training to fight people, I have no reason to believe I would fair better in a fight than anyone else, so If I can, I avoid them.





People dont think of things like what she had a weapon? He could have sat his ass down and called the cops at the stop and nothing else would have happened. She could have had a knife and gutted his ass following his upper cut.

Most training is for self defense purposes. It's usually people untrained that flip out like this. This wasn't self defense as you said.



Gotta agree with you for the most part TSD. Im a big guy and I get challenged all the time just for being big. I always walk away from fights or spazzes. I don't need to play kids games to prove something. If I were to defend myself when being attacked? The other person would be lucky if I used my fists. I take self defense seriously.



As for this story. Guy could have just been pushed at the wrong time and durring a bad bad day. Seen good people go off after being pushed by some asshole. But that uppercut was waaaaay too much. Way too much. I also agree with others if it were a guy getting his chin roasted this wouldn't be a headline story.

Agreed, and what the **** is with the other people, instead of someone trying to intervene in the situation, the first instinct is to get out your camera phone and record it for youtube... And sadly I think that even worse, it's dangerous for people to intervene because as has been mentioned we don't know what the **** is wrong with people these days, someone could have tried to help and gotten stabbed for it who knows. I guess civility is dead.

The Man/Woman thing is irrelevant to me. I would think this was just as stupid if it were two dudes. I just don't understand why people choose to take this action over the right course of action. Seriously, unless she just jumped on him and started whaling on him, what he did wasn't required, and hes gonna lose his job over it. He should have stopped the bus called the authorities and had her removed. This jr. high my dad can beat up your dad or in this case my granddaughter can beat you up bullshit is so fucking childish its not even funny, failing that I will uppercut you.



I get two drunks in a bar, they are beyond rational thought(still stupid). But two seemingly sober people, jesus christ wtf is wrong with you.

You are correct in the fact that no one wants to intervene. I've witnessed many situations over the years, most of which were when I was on the CTA in the middle of the night.

No direct danger to yoU!??! The dude is fucking driving the bus you are on... In case you didn't notice, it was IN MOTION. At any time she could have done something to cause him to put that bus into another car, a pole, a building, a pedestrian, anything. Why it took him so long to stop the bus in the first place is beyond me. Why she was allowed on the bus while in motion because "she forgot her bookbag" is further beyond me. While she continued to be on the bus while that abuse was going on is all part of the procedural downfalls that were eluded too earlier in better training these people.

You've never been on a CTA bus where someone "forgot" their fare? When the bus picks you up, they're basically moving as the door closes behind you. I've seen people ruffle through suitcases looking for their fare cards as the bus passes 3 additional stops.

Oh I have been on a bus like that. But from the video it's clear that she isn't doing any of that. Just standing there arguing with him, she isn't looking for her fare card, she isn't looking for her bag, she's just being abusive. I agree. I'm just not sure if a confrontation could/would have been avoided. Something verbal was probably inevitable. Physical? That's a whole other debate.

I've been on a bus where people look to get into confrontations with anyone that manages to pass them.

We also don't have a full video as well. So we are missing the initial trigger. As you say sometimes people just want to get in a fight, i've been on a train like that which is even worse because there is no where to go. She could have just be in a mood to fight, who knows. We don't know what was initially said that lead to this altercation. It also could have been that the 60 year old guy has been at it too long and hates his job which lead to this. Could explain why he got up. Maybe he just snapped.

No, this shit was around 20, 30, 40 years ago and more. It's just that not everyone had a device to capture it, be it still photos or talkies. And with the internet, that shit can be uploaded before the chick hits the ground.
