How many shot attempts last night?
Blocks?
Looks like the Ducks D adjusted well to a Hawks team that hasn't found the back of the net consistently in this series.

So the Hawks scored one goal in game one, two power play goals in the first six minutes of game two and then didn't score again for over five periods and then scored only one goal in game three, at what point does the conversation shift from it's Q's fault to the Ducks' goal tender is REALLY FUCKING GOOD?

The only way that becomes a talking point, to me, is if he keeps this up for the entire series. Andersen's career save % is at .918 and in the first three games of that series it's .957. If it's still that high after the series is over (and assuming Anaheim wins), then we'll talk about it in hindsight.

But there hasn't been a goalie who's done that to the Hawks over an entire series since 2011.

Players aren't on board with the "fresh legs" line either, it seems.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
My point is this:

Q takes the blame for taking out Vermette and TT, but he's not on the hook for the whole game and the sole reason we lost like many are crying about and which I disagree with. It's only a small part of the problem.

As I've listed above; Saad, Toews, Hossa and Sharp need to show up offensively. The D need to stop turning the puck over like its a ticking time bomb. Players need to start shooting the puck on net instead of shin pads. Have to give Cumiskey and Timonen more ice time even if it's just 3-4 more shifts as the top 4 need some room to breath.

Nobody is giving the Ducks credit. They've stuck to their game plan of grinding the Hawks down to nothing and being aggressive in the offensive zone and on the forecheck. They've got the players to run that style and their doing it well.

I'm not pissed that Q played Verturnover and Officer Nordberg, I'm pissed that Q broke up the only line that was working. There's no reason that Q couldn't have put Shaw/Kruger/Dejardins back together in the 3rd...much less earlier in the game.

Yes, our stars aren't getting it done but it could be because they're being nullified by a good Ducks team, but beyond that you have to have something that works, and that line was it. Blow that up and Q enabled Budreau to outcoach him by loading up against the top 2 lines.

Even Quick wasn't this good a year ago.

We can blame line-ups, but even the right ones aren't scoring due to an octopus with 4 eyes in the opposing net.

Very frustrating game to watch last night, as there is no answer for a hot goalie.

I was led to believe it was the legos on his helmet built into a wall... is this not true?

The Hawks have always owned Quick, though. Same thing with Luongo.

Best comparison I can make for this series is Tuuka Rask in Boston for the 2013 SCF. In Games 2 and 3, he stopped 61 of the 62 shots he faced as Boston grabbed a 2-1 series lead.

In the next game, the Hawks lit him up for 6 goals.

Yup dont blame him for being pissed. Gotta take vermettes side on this one Q was a complete asshole. Decisions like that are how coaches lose players and their jerbs. **** Q im done defending him.

Glad we don't have a hot goalie to contend with, I see Anaheim has taken a few pages from LA...feels like we're playing the Kings again.

If Crawford can stay awake for an entire game, we can still take it in 6.
