Per Ed Price of Fanhouse.com-

-Ryne Sandberg will leave organization now that he lost the job.

-Pat Listach is favorite to be named 3rd base coach/bench manager if he does not get Milwaukee job.

Brilliant! Excellent move! Though I'll probably change my mind if he benches Castro again, lol.

I don't like the move, he's too much like Piniella on his moves. Now the Cubs also lost Sandberg because of this move. More tickets would of sold if Sandberg was manager. Oh well, I knew it was going to happen and I got the frustration out long ago.

How is he too much like Piniella exactly?

Cause I'd say he's pretty different.

I saw when I watched him. He's been under Piniella for 3 years or so and he now has his tactics. You'll see when the season comes. The only different is he's not afraid to bench players. But, he loves Hill....

Him and Lou aren't close to the same person.

Lou is an angry, stuttering guy who manages with "fire" and treats his pitchers like crap.

Quade is a rational, well spoken guy who manages with a level head. He likes his pitchers, and I think that was what he did best.

He did that and that was different from Piniella, but the othe rmoves. Not playing young players, when to put the right pitchers in, etc. I think Sandberg would of the done the same or better.
