I don't know a lot about basketball as a whole, or really follow the NBA off season.

Are the Bulls going to be as bad as I think they are? Whats realistic? I'm afraid they'll finish behind Indiana and maybe Milwaukee.

I ask because, honestly, I don't know. What are we looking at for this year? 7th seed? 8th seed?

If Deng doesnt miss time, they'll likely be anywhere from 4th-6th seed..if he does miss time they'll fall lower. They won't have the same bench mob obviously as last year, so its hard to say how that all molds together. I figure Thibbs will get them to play like its Game 7 of the NBA Finals every night though.

Honestly, I don't think the Bulls will be as bad as I think they'll be. There is a good chance they fall behind Indiana :D

But making the playoffs shouldn't be a concern.

There could very well be some conspiracy to tank the season(maybe not get the worst record, but get into the lottery) just to buy Derrick more time. If we're somehow lucky or overachieve to be near the top of the conference, Rose might be rushed back prematurely.

No Rose means trouble. Especially with a bench that has never played together.

The Bulls are a Boozer/Noah injury away from being a lottery team. And they are a miraculous Rose recovery away from being a top 2 seed.

They are the hardest team to predict going into the 2013 season.

Top 2 is very optimistic. Being out of the top 10 is very pessimistic.

I would be shocked if they finished 1st or finished lower than 10th. They will likely be a lower seed in the playoffs (in the Knicks/Nets/76ers/Bucks/Hawks/Raptors tier).

A Boozer injury would probably be a welcoming site.

It depends what you mean by "welcoming."

If you would welcome missing the playoffs and getting a shot at a lottery pick then you should welcome it.

If you want Taj Gibson's stats to rise and pricetag (re-signing him) to rise, then you should too. Though that would also help his trade value.

The Bulls would be screwed if Boozer went down because the Bulls' offense is already lacking good scorers. And who would be Taj's back-up? Radmanovic?

If Taj's stock is too high, he'll probably wear a different jersey next season.

2013 Bulls are shitty.
The only way to watch good bulls basketball this year is to go to the land of make believe.
Lady Elaine and King Friday are holding my 1990s Bulls game vcr tapes. :troll:
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a trolley to catch...Ding Ding!!!!!!

Season depends on Derrick.

Without him we´re probably between 4th and 6th in the East which results in a first or second round exit. (Depends on when to face Miami)

If he´s back 100% for the playoffs the others stay healthy and we don´t have to face the Heat, we make the ECF for sure.

This years bench is better than last years! I wouldn´t even be that surprised if we finish second in the east.

Championship vs OKC.

87-3 final score. Rose comes back from injury and accidentally shoots a 3 on the wrong side of the court.

This years bench should be much better offensively, and beside Asik I don´t see whom we miss defensively? Korver? Watson? Lucas? Maybe Brewer but Butler can do the same!

I think this group can hang around the 3rd or 4th seed till Rose comes back. And if the lead is not too big who says we can´t rally to the second with him?

Do you actually think about these things before you post them?

The Hawks & Raptors blow. Raptors haven't sniffed the playoffs since Bosh & won't anytime soon. The Hawks just traded away & let go more than half their team. They got Devin Harris. Whoopity doo! They aren't making the playoffs this year.

The Hawks won't be very good. I don't even think they will be .500.

The Raptors were 13-18 last season with Andrea Bargnani and now they added Kyle Lowry and Calderon is coming off of the bench. And they added a true center in Jonas Valanciunas. They can fight for the 8th seed.

And if the Bulls lose Boozer or Noah for a while, while Rose is out, don't be surprised if the Bulls challenge for the worst record in the East.
