Eddie George.......
Hi recruit.....I just took a fake NFL interview ( isn't that impressive) ....that's why u should play for TSU.

Doing / participating in something that's a sham and lacks integrity... is never "good for his brand"
If anything it shows a lack moral leadership. What's next.... possibly throwing / fixing a game
So does he have nuts or not?

I also said 'Jacksonville it is!" Meaning that if Johnson is strictly looking for an "easy" division, then the AFC South is perfect for him.

The NFC North along with the AFC West each had 3 teams in the playoffs this year. That's nothing to scoff at.
I didn’t say anything about picking the easiest division, just that going to the AFC West is a near guarantee to never sniff the playoffs.

The NFC North is not on the same level.

If Eddie George had any nuts/ integrity.....he'd have told the Bears to go do a sham / fake interview with someone else.
Or you could look at it like the Bear opening a door for guy that is getting his 1st representation in the NFL head coach market. Perhaps the Bear, who have been absolutely fair handed about this in the past, see it as giving a good guy a leg up in the future and an opportunity to blow them or someone else away at some point. Effectively the purpose of the Rule. The Bear could just bring Glenn back for a 2nd interview and still may. At a minimum, this is giving a guy they feel good about, some league cred and a leg up on the process.

WTF racial issue could you possibly have with the Bear hiring or racial representation practices?
Jerry Azumah, Ledley King participate in Premier League's 'No Room for Racism' panel

I welcome the day when these situations / incidents don't take place. See Jordan Sigler's lead sentence and article.

Thanks for the Jerry Azumah article

His opinion or drama to keep you interested. Don't point elsewhere and think for yourself. Are you saying they should cancel the Rooney Rule and it doesn't help or are you just lashing out.

So you're saying everyone that got a job due to affirmative action lacks integrity? How do you even know that they wouldn't consider him. You're calling them racist without a clue of their actual intentions and an enormous amount of evidence to the opposite. Your take is extremely biased and poor form.

Nothing professional in that take.

Complete BS thing to say about the man for taking the interview. Thorough and utter BS to attack the man's character.
Yup and they may also be talking to him about a coordinator/position coach option. He's making $400k at Tennessee so not a hindrance if his goal is NFL coaching. I doubt he needs the money anyway. If you hire an OC as HC, not too hard for another OC or position coach to learn on the job while installing the O.

Run and Shoot's jaded take on the matter is disheartening.

Also read what @satchice says here in post #2,822 Here's an excerpt......

"I’m just saying the way that they went about it was embarrassing. Eddie George should’ve said **** you I’m an intelligent man and a damn good coach, and I am not your token black guy who is going to dance and entertain you to make you feel better about yourself."
-satchice

Here's more......

"No Eddie George is obviously not at the level in his career to jump to being a NFL Head Coach! Could he be an assistant coach in the NFL? That’s more likely, but if the Bears were serious, why didn’t they wait until they hire their head coach first? It’s shameful that the great Eddie George even agreed."

Meanwhile, we're stuck with the moron that gave the Eagles Jalen Carter

Many teams also passed on jalen carter, including one in our division.

There is no way to know how many other teams completely took him off the board. The guy didnt just smoke some weed, he was involved in a death and had repeating character/work ethic concerns.

Its likely if the eagles didnt take him there he would have slid a lot further. They were in position to make a risk like that, the bears and many other NFL teams were not.

I was going to make a thread about that but didn't have the stamina. I would like to know if anyone has been watching the playoffs and still thinks that Dexter is comparable to Carter. There isn't an OL in the league that can block Carter 1-on-1. The guy is remarkable.

This is a massive excuse. Saying he was involved in a death basically removes responsibility from the other participating party, and it was a misdemeanor charge, not a felony. On top of that, go look at who was drafted ahead of him. How many other teams are changing their pick?

It isn't even close. Poles once again made a huge mistake and is absolute trash. He made one great trade, but the misses continue to pile up.

Are you including his game vs The Packers? Because he sucked in that game, and got his ass whooped! Da Bears beat the Rams this season also, so what is it exactly that Carter has done that separates him? Picking and choosing a game you want as your evidence doesn't and can't change the rest of his games played. As I asked in another post somewhere, why wasn't he dominating when the Eagles were up 14 on the Redskins and lost? A division game near the end of the season and he was outplayed. He gets beat as often as he doesn't. He plays when he feels like it, or he just plain gets his ass handed to him. Probably both. He's playing vs the Redskins again. Let's see how he does. Remarkable? lol.....

LMAO, he made the pro bowl and is a second team all-pro behind Cam Heyward and Chris Jones. Please stop talking
