Oh, right, yeah it's hilarious that people are breeding a certain type of dog specifically to harm others.

What's messed up is the breed is literally for taking care of cattle. My brother in law has one and it's a super nice dog, and the only way he is ever "aggressive" is his pursuit of pets and scratches. He forces his nose under your hand to make you pet him, LOVES attention (the good kind)

That's why it's so alarming that Urblock thinks his dog's behavior is normal. It's not - that aggression signals a huge problem with his disposition. The dog obviously has deep psychological issues and training would be the first step in determining whether or not the dog is capable of becoming an actual pet.

As a working breed it's still way out of wack with the breed's function, they are supposed to be animals that work along side their master's to herd livestock, not freelance as an attack animal.

So the problem is with the owner not the breed.

I have only met one Aussie that was aggressive to humans and that was because it was abused by the previous owners. Not saying @urblock is abusing Rango, but do find it odd that Rango is so aggressive

I'm not joshing around about that. If this dog needs to be on drugs to be handled by a caregiver and you keep on ignoring friendly advice and I'm guessing the advice of professional animal handlers at your vet, the poor dog could end up snapping one day and hurting someone badly...

Yeah I don't think a dog attacking someone is much fun, but I am a well balanced dog owner

We should probably make note of this thread, I'm guessing Urblock's laissez faire attitude towards dog ownership might wind us all up in front of a judge one day.

That's the thing, Urblock comes off as thinking it's funny or "cool" that Rango wants to attack people, but imagine if Rango attacks the wrong person? Or even if say, Rango decides to attack a horse? The horse would have zero problem stomping Rango out. Could be a lethal situation for his doggo...

He finds it funny that Rango is aggressive but no one will find it funny if Rango gets put down because he bit someone
