Alright guys, 12-team, 10-cat league.

Cats are FGM, FG%, PTS, 3PM, FTM, REB, STL, AST, BLK, TO

Current team:

PG: S. Nash, J. Holiday, D. Augustin, A. Miller
SG: R. Allen, O. Mayo
SF: L. James (PF eligible), T. Ariza (SG eligible), G. Henderson (SG eligible)
PF: K. Humphries
C: B. Lopez, J. Noah (PF eligible), J. McGee (PF eligible), S. Dalembert, S. Hawes

I'm 36-34-0 right now, but I feel like it's a result of me being very patient with Brook Lopez (who I drafted), and Spencer Hawes (whom of which I am fed up with, at this point).

I've also claimed D.J. Augustin (the guy dropped him when there was "no timetable for return" and the boot came off the day I claimed him, LOL) and Gerald Henderson, recently due to other owners' impatience with their injuries. I claimed T. Ariza several weeks ago when he was first injured due to his owner's impatience with his injury, as well.

I feel like my approach has been to just make the playoffs with the best players possible, and don't worry about seeding; the players will take care of me once I get there...I hope.

Please give some feedback on my team, and feel free to post yours and I'll give feedback for yours! Multiple sets of eyes are always valuable.

Pretty good team, especially your PGs and SFs. When Lopez and Hawes come back, you'll be in great shape.

Here's my best team:

PG: Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving, D.J. Augustin(Just got from Waivers)
SG: Brandon Knight(PG eligible), Wesley Matthews(SF eligible), Manu Ginobli, Marshon Brooks(SF Eligible)
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Kris Humphries, David Lee(C Eligible), Al Harrington, Elton Brand
C: LaMarcus Aldridge

Right now, I'm 41-15(2nd place). 10-team league with 8 categories(FG %, FT %, 3PM, Rebounds, Steals, Assists, Blocks, Points).

I'm looking to trade Knight for Allen or Jason Terry, also Matthews/Humphries for Marion/Noah.

I like your team, however I don't know much about smaller leagues (especially 8-cat leagues)...I'd feel like the competition HAS to be wide open in 8 team 8-cat leagues, because every team is loaded.

You gotta be writhing with Rose sitting as much as he has been.

I am. It's been brutal. Every team is stacked in this league, but some guys have stopped checking their teams and one just unloaded his whole team to waivers. Haha. Nevertheless, I'm up against the best team in the league this week and am holding my own. If Rose and Aldridge hadn't missed games this week, I'd likely be winning in 6 categories. Right now it's 4-4, so I really need Rose and Aldridge for tomorrow or Sunday.

I'm up 6-4 right now vs. the league's top team 44-. My team doesn't score much, hit very many threes, or make a large volume of free throws (league is lucky it isn't FT%...Ray Allen + Steve Nash = GG)

Anyways, I will never lose rebounds, assists, blocks (McGee is all I need, Dalembert makes it a blowout every week), or steals (Andre Miller + Ariza + LeBron)....

Haven't shot below .500 once this year, either...shocked my record is 36-34. God save this league when Brook Lopez brings his 20 and 10 back in a week.

My team really lacks on 3s and points(with Aldridge and Rose out), but they shoot well and rebound/assist well. Blocks are decent enough to win most weeks, so if they stay healthy I think I should be okay.

I've been trying to unload Hawes + Mayo for an underperforming scorer (Joe Johnson) but everyone in the league is like "Hawes sucks" when they are sitting there with guys like Drew Gooden.

I just LOL and say, "Alright, I'll keep my 5 stud centers".

Because the bottom line is that Dalembert won't score much, but his 4 pts, 10 rebounds, and 2 block performances are much more valuable than whoever's 6, 6, and 1....and he's my WORST center. And he's had his fair share of 10+pt, 10+reb, 3+blk games...so it's gravy for me...at least my bench center isn't named Ian Mahinmi or Trevor Booker (those are the number 2 centers for the top 2 teams in the league)

There are 2 or 3 guys in my league who have made some Special person trades.

-Paul Pierce for Jameer Nelson.
-Raymond Felton and Michael Beasley for Joe Johnson and Steve Nash.
-Tyreke Evans and Ryan Anderson for Arron Afflalo and Gordon Hayward.

That's just off the top of my head. There have been a lot more than that.

good god at those trades...

spencer hawes and oj mayo for joe johnson isnt a bad offer, imho....a double double and replacement scoring for just a little more than the scoring im giving up...im that desperate for a ball-dominating 2-guard at this point.

I've been offering some similar trades to that, only to be told they're "unfair". Like the trades I mentioned are "fair". I doubt I'll do a league with these guys next year, unless I can somehow win the league.

Hawes and Mayo for Johnson is definitely a worthy offer. Once Hawes comes back, he should be a rebounding machine and a scorer and Mayo has been hot recently and is having a pretty good year.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
This is the team I have for a league that someone here started (windycity7 I think?)

PG: Lowry, Holiday, Jarrett Jack (SG eligible)
SG: MarShon Brooks (SF eligible), Ginobili, Wesley Matthews (SF eligible), Marcus Thornton
SF: Durant
PF: Aldridge (C eligible), Gooden (eligible), West
C: Pekovic, Al Jefferson (PF eligible)

I've made a ton of tweaks from the autodrafted team I started with, but this is what I'm rolling with now. It's a roto league though and even though I'm second right now, I attribute it more to me being slightly above pace on games played more so than having a good team. I think I'll finish in the 2-5 range depending on how people play later on. Idk how much of this league is active tbh...

Looking at your team, I find myself praying that you're in a 15-team league, lol.

Augustin is a solid pickup. I have him, and he's been a great utility player for me when he's been healthy. Your team's pretty nice all around, Nash, Allen, Jrue, Noah and LeBron are all good fantasy options. Ariza's been a quality all-around contributor this year as well, that's a nice find. Drop Gerald Henderson, and I myself even dropped Hawes after holding onto him FOREVER just a few days ago, You could try picking up 2 other guys and cash in on them, who all is available? The thing that concerns me with your team is points and rebounding.
