I thought it was a great game and a win against the Wings is always awesome. I love watching this team and knowing that they do so well and still have much improvement to make.

Seeing the Hawks elevate their game to face the class of the Western Conference was enough for me. They clearly want it and that's the most important thing. Toews, Hossa, Keith and even Crawford were LOCKED IN tonight.

You can jack around in the regular season and some could say this team hasn't really been tested yet (though I'd say the last big win against St Louis would say otherwise), but they flat out came to play tonight and that's a big deal to me.

This was as big of a game that you'll see in late December.

It felt like a playoff game and I loved that.

The only other game that has felt like a playoff game this year was the game against the Pens and the Hawks lost. That had me worried, but this game gives me some confidence in the team.
