Not sure if this has been suggested, but Mad Men is pretty good. I think it's on AMC.

Since you aren't looking for comedies, it sounds as if you've nailed the basics in the drama category.

Are you all the way caught up to Dexter near the end of the 5th season? If so, we need a Dexter discussion ASAP in this *****.

Six Feet Under is an AWESOME series. Michael C Hall from Dexter is one of the main characters. Basically his brother and him have to take over the family ran funeral home when their dad dies. I absolutely loved this show. Watched 5 seasons in 2 weeks. Michael C.Hall is *** in this show....even though he's ***, he is awesome as hell.

You'll really like White Collar. It's a new show so it should be easy to get caught up before the new episodes start airing in January.

LOST is the greatest television show in the history of TV.

Also Rome and Deadwood were fantastic series from HBO. Rome only last 2 seasons and Deadwood 3 so not too hard to watch it all.

True story. And you get a thanks for this.

Yea I basically watched all 4 season and caught up to season 5 in 3 weeks. The writing on that show makes it very addicting. I cannot wait till I can DL tonights episode (only movie channel I have is HBO, no SHO).

I will check out 6 feet under, Michael C. Hall pisses excellence.

Breaking Bad is just as good (I would even say slightly better), should have a thread up for that show once the new season starts as well.

No I basically have never watched television my entire life. I would watch movies and sports, that is all. I just never had the time to follow a TV series because of school, sports, work, and being too busy all the time. Now that my hours have been cut back at work and being done with school I find myself with tons of time so I am getting into TV series.

Caribbean I disagree with you on everything but I liked your recommendations. Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire have been excellent from what I have watched thus far. White Collar will be next.
