I never liked Grand Theft Auto either. It was a franchise that I never really played but I decided to try GTA IV because it seemed like the whole world was playing it. Didn't even finish half the game.

It was too open world for me. I like more linear games.

RDR looks pretty good though.

They really hyped up GTA IV way too much as well. They gave it 10/10's but I think that was just Rockstar paying them off.

RDR looks pretty good though.

I played the shit out of Vice City and San Andreas, but they really screwed with the controls for GTA IV. and they went with the whole "we're going to make everything realistic". i'm sorry Rockstar, but I play video games to get away from the real world. they messed up the driving, the running, walking, everything IMO, but for some reason it gets high grades. I too got about halfway through and just said "screw this, i'm going back to COD4"

This looks so awesome - I love games where you can go back in time to play a role, like the Assassin's Creed games and this one. To me, something like this is what video games should be about - an escape into doing something you can't do in real life, especially from a different time period. Can't wait to be an outlaw!
