Never seen a Red Robin. They arent around where I live. I have traveled a good bit and still have never seen one. Always interested me because the commercial was catchy to me as a kid.

Trust me, you aren't missing much. The commercial is by far the best thing about Red Robin.

The idea behind Red Robin is to serve a world class burger. That's their draw and promise. The end result is much less.

If you understand anything about corporate america you know the amount of testing and focus groups products have to pass through. It's could literally be hundreds of people. Eventually, some corprate VP has to say: "this is perfect". So I wonder about the disconnect between "this is perfect" and "yuck"

Yea, that burger got rated number 1 in New Orleans. It is John Besh place. It is awesome, but my heart will always think Port of Call is better. Nothing like a a massive burger with a massive loaded potato.

I personally like Red Robin. When I'm at home for an extended amount of time I usually make an effort to go there once. It's not the best burgers, but I don't remember the price being too bad and bottomless root beer floats has me hooked every time. To each his own I guess. :shrug:

That actually sounds like Burger Bar. Tons of bottles, not much on tap. Which is kind of surprising to be honest.
