In Bruce Levine's chat, Levine mention that the RS have a lot of interest in Ramirez. Maybe the Cubs can work a 3 way trade out, Chi/RS/Padres.

Cubs get:
AGON

RS gets:
Ramirez

Padres:
Vitters
More Cubs spects
RS spects

Then the Cubs can sign Beltre is he delines his PO, or call-Marquez Smith. Also, they could sign other FA. Like, Cantu maybe.

Thoughts? Would any of you guys trade Ramirez?

Get your head out of your Mom's ass and think logically. They aren't going to give up Vitters AND Other Prospects for anyone, especially when also having to give up A-Ram. And do you think Vitters and lower-level minor leaguers would even be enough to get A-Gon, since A-Ram would be going to Boston, not SD, in your plan?

After second looking at it, it doesn't. I stlll think Vitters would have to be in it, with Ramirez to at least look fair. But, the Cubs would get spects in return. Like I said, I'll have a re-vamp trade later. With spects in the trade, by name.

I'm actually to lazy to look up players right now, I will just give the basis:

Cubs get:
AGON
spects from RS and/or Padres

Padres get:
Vitters
Lalli
Carpetner
Campano
spect(s) from RS

RS gets:
Ramirez
spets from Padres

I know this will never work but it could be a start. However, I know it will never happen.

Red Sox in no way will be trading Beltre.

You guys can forget about that aspect.

**** that, I'm not trading Chris Carpenter... not until he beats Chris Carpenter in a pitcher's duel.

Then why are we looking to trade him in the first place?

Just wondering.

Spects and a salary dump. But, if it's a salry dump, I say NO. That's why the RS are interested because I think they think Beltre will not excesise his 5M option. 1 because Boras is his agent and they think he will test FA to get nore than 5M a year.

Sure am, I'm waiting for that day to come...

Yeah that would be sweet, but will Carp on the Cards still be there when Carp on the Cubs is called up. Carp is a FA after the 2012 season and they won't have enough money for Albert, Wain and Carp. IDK when Carp will be called but haven't heard his name being mention to come up next season. However, Carp could be on another team and they still have a chance to matchup. Just not on the Cubs rival Cards.

It don't matter, as long as he stays in the "We don't need a fucking DH League".
