Cubs can't lose for the rest of this season or they're out of the playoffs! Also, the 14 teams ahead of them have to start losing forever :smug2:

LaHair is actually getting back to back starts. I think Quade does everything to spite me.

I heard it on the radio and I remember Castro, Johnson, Ramirez as the first 3. I know Baker, Soto, and LaHair is in the lineup. Apart from that I don't know and too lazy to find it posted somewhere since it is on yahoo or the Trib.

They're going up against Dontrelle Willis so the righty-loading was expected.

yea..surprised they didnt play Baker at 1B and Barney at 2B to be honest. Putting LaHair in spot to fail. Im assuming though he played every day against LHP in minors though. So he should be used to them

I understand the lefty thing, but why not play Colvin everyday over Reed Johnson?

Interesting that LaHair was given the start over Pena still. I suppose given Dontrelle's delivery it is probably the type of matchup that Pena should sit against, but still I just was suprised to see Pena given a day off and that LaHair would get the start as opposed to Baker (meaning Barney at 2B).

They have an E# of 1 so it's not like it matters

I would like to see LaHair get the start because of that. I am just surprised that LaHair is given another start. He has seemed so adverse to playing guys who have been called up. Hopefully LaHair keeps hitting and Quade is forced to keep him in the lineup because having a Michael Morse would be pretty sweet.

Gotta pad that win total and Reed Mantle gives us the best shot to win.
