If the Cubs get a SP, OF, 2nd baseman and/or RP I'll be fine with Pena as the Cubs 1B next year. I like him, I came over him a lot...not just because he hit an HR.

That means re-signing Ramirez...

If the Rangers don't lock up Wilson before he hits FA, look for the Cubs to have a lot of interest.

It'll be Pena, Ramirez, Wilson, trade for a RP or 2B.

That won't be too bad, but I think the only way the Cubs don't get Fielder if he stays with the Brew Crew and/or he doesn't wanna join the Cubs.

So the guy who finally has 1 clutch hit for a team that is 20 games under .500 is ok to keep now for next year. Again Wilson isnt a elite SP while Fielder is an elite position player who is YOUNGER. Take the superstar over 2nd class SP. On that note it was fun to watch Cubs take 2 of 3 against CIN
