I believe it was 46 in 13 games before today, so this would make it 48 so far. 48 in 14 games. Hopefully it's "and counting" today.
49 now

Does anybody here know anything about Nicholas Struck? AA Starter, decent start to the season, small sample, dunno if he's a real prospect and I'm just wondering.
The lowish K rate is kinda disappointing. I wonder what his stuff is like. I don't imagine he is very high on the Baseball America list...
I haven't had a chance to watch Struck, but he is certainly a guy I am interested in as well. Unfortunately most projections I have read has his stuff as bottom of the rotation material. His apporach has been pitch to contact, and he has done well in AA so far this year (and last year for that matter as well). His strikeout rate is high right now due to a 10 K performance to start the year, but the past two games he has 6 K which is probably closer to what we should expect out of him.
Well that was a nice grab by Byrd to keep it a 4 run deficit for the Cubs. 90 days can't come fast enough for Castillo.
The guys on the ESPN game day conversation think Theo's a moron for not playing Jackson, Rizzo, Vitters, etc. I guess they've never heard of arbitration.
I am pretty sure that is the rule. 90 days and then he can be stashed on the DL for the rest of the year.
