Sacrifice bunt that Soto had to hustle to get. Lopez might have given up early on, and Soto's throw hit Cueto in the back. Now another sacrifice bunt down the 3rd baseline, and Soto's throw pulled DeWitt off the bag. So the Reds have sacrificed the bases loaded.

And a fielders choice results in the Reds taking the lead. So a walk, two errors when the Reds were trying to give the Cubs an out, and a fielders choice for 1 run.

LaHair was double-switched out. Wonder if he's hurt or if Sveum just did something crazy.

Since he just had a solid basehit, I am guessing it was just a spot that Mather could stay in that would take the longest to roll around again. Though how many teams would double switch out their cleanup hitter. Only positive in this inning, besides Maine striking out Votto, is that Cueto has been on the bases a long time now.

I think Campana and Maine took care of Wood and Dempster's spots on the 25-man roster...so who was bounced for Wells to come up?

Maine hits a batter and now walks in a run.

Oh wait, that's right, Byrd was traded. So now they need someone else to bounce so that Bowden can stick.

I'm sure the Cardinals are laughing heartily at both teams today.

The Astros have scored 10 runs so far today as well.

Cubs are not good at baseball.

Very close to a Sean Marshall appearance now.

Castro stayed in the game. Looked real scary at first since I thought he got hit in the wrist.
