The Bulls would have never made a deal even because Howard wouldnt sign an extension. Thats the reality of the whole thing. If Howard would sign an extension...they would have probably made that trade. We'd have Turkoglu's terrible contract in return, and if Howard still hurts his back..well we would have still be fucked this year..but hey..the future would at least be bright.

1. I was and I am the biggest supporter of this trade for this exact reason you write.

2. My point is that you can't say that a team was build badly because they got screwed by injuries one year. You can't know who will get injured.

If this morning's round of sportstalk radio is any indication, Bulls fans will continue to sound stupid for a little while longer.

I guess I'll say it... The "Bench Mob" is a bit overrated. Plain and simple. This series showed it too... Can we also cut the "PLayer A from the Bench Mob would start on 15 teams in the NBA"...blah blah blah.

Only starter on that bench is Taj Gibson. And more than likely 1, if not, 3 of the Bench Mob will be gone next season. I would say Brewer is a top candidate.

I don't really think they're overrated. In their role as "coming off the bench" they have been great.

Remember, they are the "bench mob". They aren't meant to be starters.

Well, since it's the off-season, let's trade everybody but Rose.

Who do you think we can get that would totally screw the other team? I say we still go for Howard. Amnesty Boozer and get Amaré. Sign Ben Gordon to the veterans minimum and see if we can get J.R. Smith to take a partial MLE.

Title team right there when Rose gets back.
