This.

Need a 2B (DeWitt sucks), and the 08 DeRo was amazing.

Also give Harden a shout.

It's not 08, it's 11 and DeRo is pretty much done. He's like 35 and didn't even play 30 games last year. Not exactly sure why you would want him back.

For me, it's Hank White. Koyie Hill just sucks that much.

Ya, IK he's not the same. The question I asked was, with what happened after 2008 left aside, what player would you want back as they were in 2008.

I still can't believe we were swept. I still think ReJo's catch was the best catch I've ever seen too.

He did better this year than 2008 IMO, but he was overlooked because of some Yadier Molina love-fest.

But ya, he did start. First Rookie Catcher to start the All-Star for the NL.

No, he didn't really have injury troubles, at least as far as the All Star voting goes. What he had was Lou Pinella troubles. He played Koyie Hill wayyyy to much over Geo.

It has nothing to do with Molina. It has to do with Lou Pinella.

Geo would be able to get in, if he was actually played. He wasn't, because of Pinella.

It's more of Molina being overrated though. Geo still played enough to get in, but the Cubs were bad so nobody took notice of him.

Proof that Molina is overrated is that he was voted starter of McCann too.
