The day they won was a day after my 17th birthday. I went to high school in St. Louis and made fun of the Cards for losing in 2004.

Konerko is my favorite player and I was supposed to go to game 2, but I couldn't because of a wedding. My dad went to game 1.

If the Sox were in the World Series every year, I'd never get tired of it. It'd be my own personal nirvana every October.

I agree. I want the Sox to be playing during that time of the year when football, hockey, basketball, and baseball are all playing.

I miss Crede before his back died. I miss Rowand. I miss Jon Garland and Jose Contreras being awesome. I miss Jenks actually being good. I miss Freddy Garcia. I miss Scotty Pods. I miss Jermaine Dye and his awesomeness during the series. I miss Frank Thomas. I just miss them all. It was a perfect team.

Had Crede, Rowand, Garland, Jenks, Pods and Dye all been able to keep up consistent play, we could've had a consistent dynasty in the making possibly. Of course it's a lot about "what ifs", but it was possible. I loved that team.

I agree. If they had actually all stayed on the Sox and stayed healthy or played consistantly it would've been a great team. Winning the 2006 World Series wasn't that hard. The Cardinals showed that. They were one of the worst teams in MLB to make the playoffs and ended up winning.
