Is this a prediction or what you would do? @remydat
Is this a prediction or what you would do? @remydat
So you can sign 35 year old Zeitler, and in turn the Lions will sign Jenkins (who is sick of the Bears) and plug him in on the right side next to Sewel. Was assuming it was Johnson hence all the vet OL signings.
I've been saying Skattebo is my guy this draft, great value choice and he will be better than Roshon and Swift on Day 1. He won't make it past round 3 tho.Draft
1st Round - Abdul Carter - Looks like he will ne next great Penn State pass rusher
2nd - Tyler Booker - Can start day one but wont have too with Zeitler and Fries in fold. However great depth and protection against injury.
2nd Round - Deone Walker - A few draft engines seem to have him lower than I expect but conditioning issues may be an issue. In any event he joins the DL rotation as he has the size to play NT and first step quickness to play 3T.
3rd Round - Emmanwori - Great size and can play FS, SS, Big Nickel or even as a coverage LB on passing downs.
5th Round - Skattebo - Powerful runner who is useful in the pass game so fits modern NFL.
6th - Hollin Pierce - Big T/G prospect that can help in short yardage initially
Buchanan- More of a coverage LB to provide depth.
Cap Space 8.5 million
QB - Williams, Bagent
RB - Swift, Johnson, Wheeler, Skattebo
WR - Moore, Odunze, Scott, Allen, Carter
TE - Kmet
OT - Jones, Kiran, Wright, Pierce
IOL - Dalman, Fries, Zeitler, Shelton, Murray, Stromberg, Bates,
Edge - Sweat, Robinson, Booker, Koonce, Martin, Carter
IDL - Dexter, Billings, Pickens, Walker
LB - Edmunds, Edwards, Sewell, Sanborn, Buchanan
CB - Johnson, Stevenson, Gordon, Steward, Jones, Blackwell
S - Byard, Brisker, Hicks, Owens, Smith, Emmanawori
K - Santos
P - Taylor
Obviously not a final 53 as short on TEs but focused on key positions.
Cool story but no one gives a shit about what the Lions do.So you can sign 35 year old Zeitler, and in turn the Lions will sign Jenkins (who is sick of the Bears) and plug him in on the right side next to Sewel.
So, last place finish next year too?Cool story but no one gives a shit about what the Lions do.
Zeitler makes more sense than Jenkis in this scenario because we are drafting Booker to start eventually.
This made no sense
I change my mind probably weekly on Teven.Jenkins is a real tough case. I'm not sure where I fall on it, but both sides make really strong arguments.
I'm going to pull the classic "sit on the fence until a decision is made and make it appear like that's what I was hoping all along, unless it turns out to be the wrong move then I'll claim I didn't want that to happen" gag.
They don’t exactly need cap savings but it would save $7 million. His dead cap is $1.5 million. They would then need to find another FS/SS to replace himThe Bears should consider cutting Kevin Byard. Use some of that cap savings for an edge like Josh Sweat.
What about Mekhi Becton? Dude had a career year working with Jeff Stoutland and moving inside to RG. I like the idea of him and Wright paving the way on the right side.
