Ben Wallace had a decent season last season....
Is he available??? He will be cheap now and we can afford him...
Yeah I know a lot of you think I'm insane for the suggestion...
But he can provide a defensive presence in the absence of Thomas...
Don't you guys miss the gong sound during the game?

I'd take Ben, but he's not available. Ben is a class act, and even though he had a beef with Skiles, he was still a total pro on the court and in the locker room.

Ratliff just seems like a Thibs guy. I'm surprised how far Troy Murphy fell off the past couple years.

We still have a very good 4 man deep frontcourt. We all thought Kurt Thomas was done and he filled in nicely. I have faith Thibs will find a guy to replace him.

Not completely disagreeing, but not as familiar w/ the situation as you are....

Wasn't Dampier a starter for them? Or isn't that what they wanted him to be?

We're gonna need him for 10 min a game...

Miami rotated their C's... none of them got too many minutes. I just know Dampier sucked haha.

If Noah and Asik, boozer and Gibson stay healthy, we really wouldn't even need any big guy we bring in for 10 minutes.

But just in case one of them does go down, I'd prefer we didn't have Dampier step in for one of them

Maybe I'm not aware of Asiks injury history but besides breaking his leg vs the Heat, how many injuries has he had?

He missed a ton of games in Turkey with a knee and shoulder.

Knee injuries all over the place in Turkey, like Crys said.

I love Asik, dude is a swat monster with Dracula's voicebox. But I know we'll have to trade him when his stock his a new high. When that is, I have no freaking clue.

Wow, Ben Wallace was brought up. Haha

Gotta agree, he definitely is a respectable player. He had every right to beef with Skiles. Hell, I never liked the guy.

It's true though that Thibs will find the guy he needs in Thomas' spot.

Does anyone view Etan Thomas as a worthy addition? I believe he'd fit in well with this current line-up.

I have tried reading up on what teams are interested in him at the moment. No one is jumping at this guy yet. Let's hope GarPax would look into adding him..because he is a good 1yr/vet-min type of guy.

All defense and rebounding with 0 offense. Seems like an older version of Asik, but shorter.

I would have gone after Kwame Brown, and honestly, if he were 50 pounds lighter, Eddie Curry.
