the nba beenz watered down for years in ways.. i mean when chicago and jordan were rolling.. did you think it was watered down then?
i think the game is softer these days, compared to my youth.. but i find offenses more exciting even though dem defenses is suspect... players size/athletic combos are off the charts.. skills are way betta..and the game is very global now.. i like basketball better these days in ways.. i do wish it were still a bit more physical and hand checking was still allowed. as a smaller defender.. da ability to hold with me hand and lock out dat elbow and get me gluts and legs into it.... helped way mo than going forearm to 500 lbs backs of giants.. jmo
the league always only had a few teams in a sense...during my youth until the heat in 06... it was basically the lakers, celtics.. detroit, bulls, houston, spurs.. and if jordan didnt retire.. perhaps he gets 8 and houston isnt relevant..
from 83-05 only 6 different franchises won championships..

The officiating has been something else. I've never seen them change a technical that had already happened quarters ago. Might be the only time I see that in my life
