Monday I'm going to shut down my business and sell it. Hard to do after all these years. Going to start building our last house this spring. Might buy a colt to raise and keep me busy. Big changes coming. Retired before I hit 60. :woot:

Retirement is great Urblock. I retired at 55. Got the hobby farm thing going here to keep me busy. I want to raise some beef cattle for family and friends consumption, we will see it all depends how ambitious i am . Have to clear some land.

Well if youre about to hit 60. 68 years is the avg life expectancy of males, so I was being generous at first by giving you the full 8 years to live. Howev, considering your early onset of dementia, im thinking you only have 2, possibly 3 semi decent years before suffering further cognitive degeneration that will require aid. It may be a slow decline, but from my perspective, its definitely already started. Once it starts to accelerate in years 2-3 you may require some sort of aged care facility, or at the very least, in home care. The fake ommy can tell you all about aged care. GL

Good for you Urblock. I am going to retire in May of this year and begin spending my 401K on cruising the world. When I am home I plan on working as a handyman for my son in laws property management company. Dink around in the shop and make stuff to sell on the internet. Amazing what people will pay for 4 boards nailed together.

Been thinking of finding a local dog rescue and volunteering as well.
