Yes, sign him. But I don't think it is possible. He will be a Jet or Patriot.

If its under 10 mil a year..but no way we get a deal like that!! I don't even know where we stand with cap room..so even at that point I am not sure we can afford that. So I say pass to someone who will pay14 mi+l or so..

Lions signed Golden Tate. Good pickup for them

Revis seems like he is going to be a Patriot.

I sure as hell wouldn't trade for him and his insane contract. Now that he's released why not go for it (assuming he clears waivers=) ). Of course if the Pats are really targeting him as rumored we probably have no shot.

Wonder what his money will be. Having watched him last year when healthy, he is still very very very very very fucking good.

Sign him?

I think it would be a great move. You can buy guys in free agency if they are good players. Increasing your talent is great value, while overpaying for lazy, injured, or declining will kill you.

It is telling that Revis told teams "if you want me then pay for me."

Meaning....please don't let Tampa tear up my beautiful gigantic contract, trade picks for me and then pay me 16 million.

This guy is not going to be happy making less than 20 million a year and I am not sure he is even in touch with reality. His ego is incredible for his production, and we are probably better without the headache.

However, I would be ok with landing him at 12 per and no more. I think he is worth that, he just will never be worth what he thinks he is worth and will hold out on you the first time he has 5 interceptions.

Why would Lovie sign Melton? He has Gerald McCoy

I understand why Tampa did it, but it's still amazing that one of the best players in the NFL gets cut.
