I believe you can compensate MORE than the required amount, correct? Say Subban would cost us a 1 and a 3... is it not correct that we can do a 1 and a 2? I was under that impression.

As many young players as we have who look like they're going to make it in the league (Pirri, Morin, Saad, Hayes, Shaw, and this new midget), I don't mind giving away a few draft picks for a 2nd line center and/or a top 4 defender.

I have never heard that before and RFA compensation seems to be pretty strict (the draft picks must be the teams original picks).

well atleast we had a little more conversation in this thread then, even though it sucks we cant sign any good RFAs. lol
