Those are two funny interview segments!
In the 1st segment, her second response is really unusual, where she didn't connect the two questions. If he just left off the last two words "in-time" I can't imagine she would have misunderstood the question. I had to watch it again, just to see if she was joking. But people lose focus in interviews like this from time to time. I don't think her response here wasn't ignorance, but she was defensive.
In the second segment, the interviewer makes the mistake of not giving her adequate time to respond. It was a rambling intro to his question; but his one sentence question was clear. She was thinking on a complex question. He got ruffled at her pause and 'um'. She did 'look back at him', but I would have given her a chance to speak. Or just repeat the question verbatim. But instead he just makes the question more convoluted, not more clear.

He repeated the question before she even gave the dumb reply. You could see what a dummy and absolute bat shit crazy person she is from when she was on the Ultimate Fighter with Meisha Tate. She would get insanely pissed at the silliest things.
