Somehow, the world seems less humorous now.

I know you've mentioned that a couple of times, but I can't remember why...
Was he depressed?
His marriage failed and he wouldn't go to work. He pulled away from all of us and wouldn't let us help him. He quit on life. He left two sons to grow up without a father. One a teen the other a toddler. What really pissed me off was that our Dad was killed when my brother was a year old. Growing up without a Dad sucks and he knew it. Selfish.

Definitely one of the guys I could relate with having the issues I had growing up. As another guy said, he made being weird cool. Still watch Hook at least a couple times a year.

R.I.P. Robin Williams.

So I was reading this this and something seems weird. The wife says, "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend blah blah blah" yet we see they have separate bedrooms and she left in the morning, when he was likely already dead, without even seeing him.

One of the most definitive philosophical text concerning the morality of suicide, if any of you care to educate yourselves on the matter: Biathanatos. (written primarily from an Anglican perspective, examining suicide as sin)

So apparently Spartan some assholes are sending Robin Williams' daughter some nasty messages and pictures on social media over her father's death and she has decided to delete her accounts for now. This was her final message to those people. Thought some posters here would find it interesting...

"To those he touched who are sending kind words, know that one of his favorite things in the world was to make you all laugh," she continued. "As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you’ve had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too… Dad was, is and always will be one of the kindest, most generous, gentlest souls I’ve ever known, and while there are few things I know for certain right now, one of them is that not just my world, but the entire world is forever a little darker, less colorful and less full of laughter in his absence. We’ll just have to work twice as hard to fill it back up again.”
