Wow, did not know. He was one of the guys I could tolerate from ESPN.

The lazy eye shall be retired forever. RIP Stu! You will be missed.

he was espn to me growing up
Same here! During the summer, I'd watch the same sportscenter over and over back when they just showed reruns all morning and Stuart Scott was one of the main reasons. My friends and I would always use his catch phrases and stuff..the guy was awesome at what he did. And from 99% of who you hear, a good person too.

****, he was one of the few good ESPN guys left. He was around for prime ESPN years and was a big part of it, sad to see him go.

Watching Trey Wingo in tears talking about Scott on ESPN and the piece just shown was really saddening. One of the best guys ESPN ever had.

Stu was as cool as the other side of the pillow. He was the face of ESPN to me. Class act all the way and you can tell by how his coworkers responded. I got the feels watching those reports. RIP

Knew he had cancer but didn't know he had it that bad. I remember when he was on-air and he had mentioned it came back(that was his 3rd or 4th bout with cancer). RIP
