Do you cook it or just chow down on the walk home from the bar?I love road salt; it makes it so that my roadkill venison is pre-seasoned.

You could always just move to Florida.
I retired from that state a decade ago, never again. It's amazing to view satellite photos of areas I once lived in, swamps in 2000 are now full of people in 2016.
My choices are Colorado, Wyoming, or Montana where property taxes run about $150 annually per acre.
And da internet comes every 3 weeks via covered wagon...
I have friend who runs a fishing lodge 50 miles north of Helena and 50 miles south of Great Falls MT. Even I would not live this remotely, and his internet works as well as my Xfinity.
Yeah.... sorry I been doing this thing lately.... iz called joking....
Not joking here, 2 plows just drove by scraping bare pavement...for the second time today.
Government waste at its' finest.
If the weight difference is substantial, I couldnt justify going to it. I tow some pretty heavy stuff that pushes lighter vehicles around on the highway.
I used to have a grand cherokee limited that I loved, over 20 mpg with a strong v8 that hauled the boat around town without issue, but it was horrible on the freeway... would get pushed all over at 70+.
For less heavy duty applications aluminum might be great though.
Salty mods cause more problems than salty roads.
