I honestly don't know one person who owns one of these. They sound great in theory (for the older/lazy/busy parent) type, but I question how well they work. I have a hill, a fence, sidewalks, etc. How the **** one of these things going to open the fence? Riddle me that

Well since youre a baller you could bypass the home wire guided ones and just invest into a line of gps & rtk tractors to mow that acre.

They're robots yo.
ROBOTS!
They'll do anything you program them to.
Mow your lawn, kick down your fence, torch your neighbor's place.
It's all in how you program it.

Where you or I see a major gap in a design, a CEO sees a line in the quickstart guide that says:

"User will need to provide free pathing to and from all tasks."

They don't care if their products are good, or even that they do what's expected.

They only care if the product sells, even for a short period of time.

I think we're coming to the end of that type of consumerism though.

There is a house over here that has a big flat front yard that is all fenced in and it entirely grassed. Not sure why you have an acre of grass in your front yard we live in the desert but that isn't the point. Their little robot mower is out there pretty frequently when I drive past and I have to admit that their lawn always looks level and nice.

Now this is a large flat yard that only has a driveway running through it and very few other obstacles, but I think that these things are pretty smart and seem to learn their way around. Would never be for me as I refuse to have a lawn that requires sprinklers, but in my one, albeit anecdotal, experience that big ass lawn looks pretty dang nice.
