The part where Green Bay promises to "review his situation" after the year is over is fucking bullshit and I am surprised Rodgers fell for that bs.

Green Bay can keep Rodgers next year and there is nothing he can do about it other than retire. Yeah 2023 he is out but that is only one year left on his contract anyway.

It will be really curious how the language of that part is put into the contract.

well they’ve agreed to not tag him, and they have to either trade him or let him walk for a third round pick before next season.

so like i said, if rodgers really wants out all he’s gotta do is not sign the papers and make GB trade him.

Source for the third round pick item?

'Cause I'm not buyin' that GB signed off on that.

i dont get how this is 'falling for it'

if they dont trade him after this season than they get nothing in return

So he reported today, comfortably sporting his Man-bun. I also hear they're working on a new contract, which presumably goes up. If the quality of the players around him is/was one of his complaints (not saying I've seen confirmation of that), doesn't him signing for more money restrict GB's ability to sign some of those targets, such as Davante Adams, who the team already ceased negotiations with? This could be a very interesting locker room.

And they just traded with the Raiders to get Cobb back to appease him even though they drafted one of the more dynamic slot wrs in the draft. This whole thing is just weird from start to finish.

Doesn't Cobb play with the Texans?

The Aaron Rodgers' offseason saga is the perfect mirror to being a Bears fan.

We all really hoped one thing would happen, but it didn't go our way. We ultimately knew it wouldn't, and none of us are really that surprised. And there's always next year.
