Nagy is coaching for his life. If Fields gives him the needs best shot at winning, he'll be in sooner rather than later if the decision is his to make. But it isn't. It's Pace's decision. This narrative of Pace being on the hot seat is bull. The brass love him, and Pace has his scapegoat. He's going to force Fields to stay on the bench as long as possible, knowing it's NEXT season that is do or die for him. In which case, Fields should be ready to step in and play career savior. Not saying I agree with the approach, only that this is how I see things shaking out.
