The mistake was signing Edmunds. Roquan is a very good player but why spend $18m/year when you have tons of cheap off ball LBs who are very close to as good. Two of the all pros this year are making less than $7.5m.

Why wasn’t it smart? They are terrible teams. Barkley and Henry don’t all of a sudden make those two teams playoff teams.

Smith had beef with the organization and clearly didn’t want to be here. So if that’s the case, it’s time to move on.

I don't know if the claim is accurate. And being youngest to 1000 tackles doesn't necessarily mean you were the fastest player to reach 1000 tackles. But still a nice achievement. Bears and Roquan kind of had a break up of sorts.

Most of those tackles with the Bears was because our offense was always 3 and out. He spent a lot of time on the field.

Team Leaders. Good teams have them. Roquan, besides being an outstanding player was a key team leader. Poles doesn't understand this. Same for David Montgomery, a good short yardage RB, but a great team leader.

McCaskey's are not cheap lolol. The cap is why we did not spend that money. I'm glad we didn't. He was a headache and the money was better spent elsewhere.
