Interesting comparison. Rose has a supporting cast that knows that they just don't screw up and Rose will get them the ball.

The Heat are still searching for who does what, players play out of position and role players have too high of expectations.

Dwight Howard is really underrated has a MVP choice. LBJ choking doesnt really matter for MVP in the regular season. It is a rgular season award i doubt LBJ will win it but just keep that in mind.

I think it's more of a reference to a true MVP doesn't have that many technicals and composes himself better for his team.

You can't be the most valuable player to your team if you're missing a game while fighting for a higher seed at the end of the season. This will be the 2nd game he's missed due to T's.

I've heard the bolded part so many times...it's almost silly. I don't get it. He had a good team around him, and they supposedly traded for better players, but he still has less talent around him than this offense? lol. We may have a better team...but if you take Rose and Howard out of the equation, their players would average higher draft positions than ours in a simulated draft...imo...

He doesn't throw as many elbows around as Bron or Garnett, but he throws that forearm around a ton more than any player throws their elbows around, even prime Karl Malone. A Dwight Howard forearm isn't a contact-check, it's like a balintawak-eskrima punch.

He should be in the conversation for MVP. He shouldn't be the MVP because he is so far from a class act on the court. The only people that want Howard or LeBron to win, are people who have an agenda with Rose/the writers that prematurely gave Rose props, or they are just Miami or Orlando homers.

Think about the bolded part. We've been "full strength" for all of what, a quarter of the season? Boozer's missed 22 games this season. Noah's missed 29. So our starting front court his missed over 50 games combined, and it's not like both happened at the same time...those bastards staggered it out like it was a strategy.

Im no homer I go by stats and importance to team and Dwight should be at least 2nd in voting.

Howard is not fighting for a higher seed, Orlando is set in stone where they are at right now...4.5 games back at this point is pretty much a done deal...

As for value to his team...Howard is more valuable on both sides of the floor to the Magic than any other player in the league. He is a walking top 5 defense. Name anybody on his team who is even close to a top 5 defender....
