How come they haven't announced the Rookie of the month yet??

I thought they usually do that the 1st of the month???

ANyways, Rose should be named Rookie of the month for the month of March. He has had the best month of all rookies and yes - even better than Lopez, who hasn't been all that last month.

Maybe they're combining March and April because of how short April is?

A healthy Hinrich all season and the Bulls would have a similar record with Beasley as with Rose, possibly better. Of course we didn't have a healthy Hinrich all season. Rose has been good, but his fit for the team has been poor, Beasley would have been a better fit in the short term.

That's not to say we should have taken Beasley, we shouldn't have. However, Rose replicates talent we had already more than Beasley did, so his impact hasn't been as great as his ability. It's like adding Yao Ming to a team with Dwight Howard on it vs adding Yao Ming to our team. Yao would still help the Magic, but it'd be a night and day difference for our team.

In a couple years when we move assets around, Rose will help us all the more.

Main page more suitable for writing

Every new blog posted will be the main featured "Top Story" from now on.



If you include a thumbnail (info on that here), it will automatically update the "image of the day" as well as linking it to your article.



In addition to that, your article will also be featured in your section as well and also displayed in the "Latest Headlines"... basically, there's no chance anyone misses it if they check out the main page.



I've kinda slacked off on writing lately too, but I think we should get back on this since the site has been refreshed and it looks busier now. I haven't slept all night so I'll probably get a draft preview done later in the day.



I'd like to have around 5 people writing -- 3 people in the featured column, the other two will have spots elsewhere as well as a link at the top of the page. I can alternate it per week based on hits, so the more hits you get, the higher in the "featured" rank you go.

You ever think about coming up with fun topics and assigning it to people (ie asking someone to write it, not a specific person) I find coming up with the topics the hardest part sometimes.

Ahh so I'm the brains behind the operation. I guess it looks like I usually keep my section for recent news and updates.



If you don't really feel the need to comment on that sort of stuff (which is fine), perhaps you can stick to more fun things such as Toews Lake and all the crap they are naming after him. You can be a total smart ass in a funny way sort of thing I'm sure people will love that. Greg Wyshynski has that sort of personality to him, we can use that.



It doesn't always have to be about the game, it can be matters away from the rink if you are more comfortable writing about that. Nobody has written about Toews Lake here, you can also do things like commenting on the players days with the Cup -- all the videos are on the official CBH site.
