I'm pretty sure he's going to suffer some season ending injury soon. So while he may play Wednesday, his days are numbered.

We're not going to win a championship with a hobbling Rose. It's gonna be Miami vs OKC in the Finals.

I didn't realize someone stepping on your foot was season ending. He was held out cuz the Bulls brass is overreacting to every little knick n bruise now that they've invested nearly $100 mill in him. Rose is going to be fine, so take off the noose & step back from the ledge. Everything's going to be ok.

I said it was a matter of time before he suffers a season ending injury, not that this foot injury was season ending. If he plays his way through the playoffs, fine. I can settle with being absolutely wrong. A hindered Rose will be no good to us in the playoffs. I find that to be a major concern.

This is true. Rose has had his bad games, so anyone could pull out those examples. But he can play hurt and still help this very deep team a lot.

I'm also glad to see Scoot backing down a little. He's one of the best posters here, and if he makes a controversial comment, I'm not going to hold it against him. He's a good guy with good insight. Like he said, despite his instinct, better he be wrong than right.

Sorry I misread that. Either way, as others stated, a hindered Rose got us all the way to the ECF last year so I completely disagree that he'd be no good to us in the playoffs. Even Rose at 75% is better than 95% of the league.

I agree it's concerning but the last 2 injuries have been kinda freak things (landing on Landry's foot; Prince stepping on Rose's foot) so it's not like these were related injuries that were caused by the grind of the season, so that makes me more optimistic I guess.

I hope it doesn't take Rose too long to get back to his old self.
Does anyone know if he is going to be back for the last few games before the playoffs?
It could take him a little time to be back to form when he returns.
It may be wise for coach T to let him play limited minutes the last few games so he's warmed up for the first round, whoever our first opponant may be.
