My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Oakland Raiders
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Pretty sure this board was ecstatic with the pick up when it happened. Whoever fills that spot isn't going to play...so what's the difference.

If we signed someone other than Mike James, then you're right.. that guy probably wouldn't have played much anyway. But it would have made more sense if we had signed a big. What would happen if Asik or Noah went down with an injury? We'd only have 1 C. Or if Boozer/Gibson got injured.. Scal wouldn't really do anything off the bench.

Now we're just stuck with 4 PG's.. If Watson and Rose stay healthy, the other 2 don't play at all.

Yeah, I can...

Leave the spot as is...what good is bringing in a guy who isn't going to play in the playoffs? Makes no sense...

No, what makes no sense is having too many pointguards and not enough bigs.
Nocioni would be a hell of a lot more helpful than Mike James and Scalabrini who don't provide a dam thing we need.
Especially for Deng who is well over played. Noc actually would provide a need and some dam heart.
Plus Noc has always been a good defender......How is that useless?
Nocioni would be a hell of a lot more helpful than someone who tries to shoot down every opinion posted here.......I guess you don't like the idea because I suggested it.

Plus may I add that Loul Deng himself sayed he wanted them to sign him last month.
Is Loul Deng wrong too?......I would think he knows a little more about what would be a good piece for the Bulls than anyone here.....in a way, he was asking for some help........too bad Pax ignored him...

You know, the old me would say "f--- your suggestions!"...but I went to church yesterday. So I will just say I really didn't pay attention to your suggestions...and I stopped paying attention a while ago because you seemed to be a bit...uninformed.

What the Bulls need, he doesn't provide...the Bulls have 8, 9 players that are better than him. He wouldn't make the playoff rotation. THAT is why I disagree with the suggestion.

The bottom line is we missed the boat on adding another player that could help us. A big man would've been nice or another scoring threat off the bench, but the FO decided to stand pat. Hopefully we'll have enough continuity going into the playoffs to keep winning.

The same can be said for signing Mike James.
Is Mike James going to make the playoff roster?
If so, will he actually play?
What's the difference you may ask, other than that if either James or Noc would be used, Noc would potentially be able to provide an extra big wing player with experience and is familiar with the way Pax wants this team to play. An actual need..........................Plus he's a Chicago fan favorite, for whatever that's worth.

Pax??? He ain't the coach...its about Thibs. For that matter, why didn't Mr. Skiles go after him?

No shit. Of course Pax is not the coach, but Thibbs is very much alike in comparrison to Skiles as far as being a defense first no bullshit stern coach.
I don't know why Thibbs or Skiles didn't go after Noc and maybe they did.
All I'm saying is that Noc just seems like the type of guy that would fit in very well with what Thibbs is trying to do........it almost would seem perfect in my opinion.

It doesn't matter anyway because its too late.

Ummm, maybe because Mr. Skiles isn't the GM.

Houheffna: Bashes one poster for thinking the VP should do the coaches job, then immediately asked why the coach of another team didn't do the GM's job. Stupidity at it's finest.

Not understanding the irony in his own post: Classic Heffna.

You calling somebody stupid should be a crime....being that you have nothing important to say at all. I guess for you its fun to be a sidekick to trolls...the job market is awfully slim.

Do you know why Scalabrine and JL3 are on the Bulls roster? Do you even have a clue? Probably not...let me help you...

THE HEAD COACH!

Paxson isn't head over heels for either of those 2. Thibs insisted that they be on the roster. Matter of fact, rumors are Thibs and Forman don't even get along...but Thibs gets his way when it comes to end of the bench roster spots?

I wonder if Skiles has ANY pull along those lines. Think he could suggest bringing a veteran in if he wants? Most likely, since Milwaukee has pretty much committed to him over any player on the team.

My point was this team is not built on Paxson's vision...its built around Thib's vision.

But stick to kissin' troll ass. Hopefully you will do it long enough to get a pension...idiot.

What ever beef you and dengdefense force are stirring up, leave me the **** out of it.
When you called him a sidekick to a troll, you were referring to me with another one of your cheap shots you keep throwing my way.
That's uncalled for Hue.
I have nothing to do with what he writes.
I havnt started a dam thing with you bro.
I have stuck to forum topic and respectfully argued my Nocioni point without personal attacks.
Its you this time, not me.
I don't need no more trouble here.

I don't need the ignore button, you do.......so use it and practice what you preach.

Now back to the topic on Thibbs.
My opinion states clearly that my personal belief is that Noc would of been a great bench guy for our current roster.
Nothing wrong with that..I only state that as my opinion and I stand pat with that.
Its funny you bringing up the coaches decisions as far as rosters go and use it against my belief in why I didn't know what reasoning was used in not bringing back Noc instead of Mike James.
Arnt you the one that moaned and groaned about Dwight Howard and how the Bulls can't win a ring unless we traded for him? And how you didn't understand and thought it was a mistake that Pax and company were unable to make Howard a Bull..Well check this, has it occurred to you that MAYBE COACH THIBBS DIDN'T WANT TO COACH HOWARDAnd maybe that's 1 of the reasons he's not here.....You don't know what Thibbs decisions are or if he wanted Noc or Howard...and neither do I.....If you claim its fact that Noc isn't a Bull right now because Thibbs didn't want him, then by all means prove it like you tell everyone else to......Right, mind bender ain't it?
Thank you and carry on.

Tupac's dead...
The Pope is Catholic...
The President is black...
AND YOU ARE A FRIGGIN' TROLL DUDE.

I had nothing to do with you getting banned and haven't commented on it. But lets call a spade a spade here. Do you troll all the time? No...but you do a lot of it. You have trolled me on these forums and even on my personal page.

Now back to the point...

now I have to tell you that post was basketball Special person. Why?

1. Dwight Howard doesn't want to come here. He does have some say in the matter.

2. Neither you or I know whether the Magic are impressed with the players on the Bulls' roster. Their opinions matter also.

3. Skiles getting Nocioni is totally different from the Bulls acquiring Dwight Howard. They don't have to trade for him, they don't have to bid for much either. Nocioni has said HE WANTS TO PLAY FOR THE BULLS...and he ain't here. So what does that tell you?

Case closed...have a nice day.

Uhhh, excuse me, I'm not exactly a troll. See? See?, See how you personally attack with the name calling?....who's the aggessive one here? :dunno: Its you man. Isn't that a form of trolling? Cool out dude.

When in hecks fire did Nocioni ever say he wouldn't play for the Bulls again?
I read that he flirted with the idea of coming back...
Plus it is a fact that Deng did strongly publicly make a case to bring him back.
If you don't believe me google it.
There is no proof in your statement about Noc not wanting to be a Bull.
If there is and you read it somewhere, please by all means link the article.....I certainly would be interested in reading it....

P.S, I never said you had anything to do with my banning. Others assumed that in my absence.
I blamed nobody but myself for that.
I admitted it was wrong to threatin bodily harm to any forum member even if its iin a joking way....I have moved on, and I'm sure FirtTimer has to.....I don't even believe FirstTimer had me banned.........It was an issue a mod had with me and I didn't ***** about i t because it was some what justified......Now, if my joking around with you in the past bothered and personally offended you that bad in the past, I publicly have no problem apologizing for it to you if that's what you want.
I moved on along time ago, can't you?

Oh , I'm sorry Hue.....will you ever forgive me?....please and thank you. :smug:

But yes the case is closed simply because Noc and Howard are not here....and I'm cool with it, because I like the team we have.....but there's nothng wrong with brainstorming on ways to improve..that never stops.

Peace be with you Hue and Go Bulls.
