If we were to get Rudy, wouldn't we want him to start over Brewer cuz in our starting 5 we really don't have a consistent shooter and he would be that shooter

probably depends on matchups. We'd want to start Brewer against Miami, Boston...teams with big time SGs...and probably Rudy against everyone else.

Of course, when Deng gets hurt for a month around December, we can find a way to start both...

I don't think it ever really says that he would prefer to go to Europe over the NBA. Rather he is just stating what his options are looking forward. In this case he is just saying he wants either 2 things to happen:

1. Get Bought out and return to Europe
2. Get Traded to a team where he can get consistent playing time.

This is great news for us, he is just lowering his trade value. Heck, we might not even have to give up a 1st Round pick for him anymore. (even though I'd be more then willing)
