I actually would not do this trade, it does not help clear cap space. The contracts of Gor and Pietris equwal Luol's contract.

If the two players we're getting in return are more tradeable, how is it not a good trade?

If the Bulls are planning on doing that but if they keep the 2 players, it makes no sense.

Toronto wants a center. Dallas tried to acquire Gortat, specifically, last year. Pietrus has been a good player on a contending team that makes half of what Deng makes.

Also, look at it this way. If we acquire LeBrong and Bosh chooses to go to Miami, we're still in good shape from a depth or flexibility standpoint. If we S&T Bosh, again, Toronto has said theyd like a big...also add the fact that they have kind of modeled their offense around Orlando's, which is where these players are from. There are also a number of other trade possibilities with these two players. If Cleveland wants to do a S&T, we can send Pietrus their way if necessary.

I would love this trade if they were making way less. Gor was/is a good backup for Superman and Pietris can come off the bench and swoosh 3/s. I guess it would also be good: Starting 5 imagining the Bulls get Bron, Rose, Bron, Noah, Gibson, Deng. Bench, Gor, Pietris, JJ, Law (hopefully) and draft pick.

So, then that would mean the Clippers are giving up on acquiring James? Sorry, but this seems unlikely.

This deal was said to be deal but the Clips have no chance of signing Bron. I would be surprise if they signed himk but I can't see it. Dend would amke them better and Deng is good IF he stays healthy.

Actually, youre forgetting Asik.

It would be something like this (if we trade Hinrich):
PG- Rose/ DPick (Bradley or Bledsoe)
SG- Pietrus/ Korver/Tony Allen
SF- James/ Johnson
PF- Gibson/Asik
C- Noah/Gortat

If we play the Lakers we match up like so defensively:

PG - Rose - Fisher (could be gone)
SG- Pietrus- Kobe
SF- James- Artest
PF- Noah- Gasol
C- Bynum- Gortat

There would be three legitimate defenders we could throw at Kobe. We could put Noah, and possibly Asik on Gasol. We could put either Noah or Gortat on Bynum.

ya one thing i really like about bradley is his flexibility because he play both SG and PG and also plays fantastic perimeter defense

i also really like Henry

i think a guy to watch is dominique jones out of usf, really strong, physical great scorer

could be a big sleeper although he is projected to be pick a little later than 17

maybe just a thought for chicago if they stay at 17 and they run out of options

Thats great depth right there. but i think having Allen and Korver is overkill especially if we got Bradley, even though they are two completely different types of players. Anyways i would rather get Morrow than any of the backup SGs.

the thing that i see in Bradley, is that he is similar to Westbrook as exploding to the basket.

Thibs is gonna draft a defensive guy who is a spot up shooter. I have no idea who fits that and will be available...but that's who is going to get drafted by us if we stay @ the 17.
