The Cubs are expected to take a look at 1B Aubrey Huff, 1B/C Victor Martinez and P Jon Garland. The Cubs might try and trade Kosuke ASAP so they can sign FA ASAP. Also, there's a note about Kerry Wood in the article.

Thoughts? Huff would be a good stopgap if he comes cheap, Martinez will cost too much and Garland is a 4th or 5th pitcher in my opinion. Just give the ball to Archer if that's the case. Also, I believe the Wood statement.
