These rumors have been around long before this particular source you mention. Just haven't heard any that specified teams that Williams doesn't want to play for. If I'm to be honest, Williams seems way too full of himself anyway.

This is a crazy good rumor.

The Bears will hold their play with Fields close to the vest to force up the price, so, even if they do plan on keeping Fields, they wouldn't want to tip anyone off so that the price reflects the need to move them on from Williams. If the Bears are interested in MHJ, I could see them feeding them information that they don't want Williams. Now, the Cardinals. I don't know if they go with a QB.

They should trade down and try to get other pieces, then if still unhappy with Murray after '24, they can get rid of him as his '25 cap hit exceeds the dead cap in that year.
