Where did management come out and say the Bulls will be better next season? Next year will probably be another 40-41 win season with us setting up to get a 2010 FA.

I dont think management have said it but theres quite a few fans here & elsewhere who think Gordon held us down.

I doubt if they say that they will improve this early. But they will say it if they feel that way sometime in preseason. Someone will say it. But I believe towards the end of next season, they will talk about cap space, that is what this is all about. Freeing up cap room. For better or worse next year. They feel that letting BG go is short term loss and long term gain.

Haven't listened to them in a while, but I do think they would call you a basketball Special person.

My opinions are my own, and often different from theirs.

I gave my opinions on here and you criticize it, but you bring nothing to the table?

Except for when an admin gives his opinion, then you nod in agreement like a damn groupie.

Those guys call everyone retards, so that isn't saying much.

I provide evidence for my opinions, i provide hard facts that are indisputable. You offer opinions of others, but you bring no facts to the table.

Joe Dumars would call you an idiot when it comes to basketball.

Maybe Dumars would, but I would have drafted Carmelo, and I wouldn't have given BG 11mil. So I think he is being an idiot.

I think Dumars is a classy guy, so someone with more class should probably speak for him.

What stats or factual evidence do you want me to show you concerning the future? I have to show you stats to prove to you that Ben was a cap room casualty? Then you really are out of sorts. It seems you logged on just to start shit. Do your thing roadie...

Dumars has been really crappy gm lately though. Starting with giving Kwame may more money than he deserved(ignoring the fact noone wanted him). Just gave out money to Jason Maxiell and Rip Hamilton. Traded Billups for AI. He didn't make one good move last year besides getting his team under the LT. If he didn't give all that money to Kwame and Maxiell could of still added big name free agent and kept Chauncey

I don't bash Dumars for trading Billups. And I know he take s a lot of heat for that. But this is why I don't rip Dumars for that trade.

Clearly the trade benefited Denver more than Detroit. But Detroit wasn't going anywhere with Billups. Detroit had been eliminated in the ECF for three straight yeara with Billups. This year would have been no different with Cleveland and Orlando. Detroit would have been beat in the first or second round.

So Dumars makes the tarde to shake things up. Best case - Iverson works and the Pistons make some noise. Worst case - Iverson is a bust and the Pistons go nowhere. The latter happened, but the benefit to that was the cap room from Iverson (and Rasheed) over 30 million that ended up turning int BG and Villanueva. So overall I liked the Iverson trade becaue they weren't going anywhere with, or without, Billups. They hadn't the last three years.

All GM make good moves and bad, but overall Dumars has been solid. He did draft Darko over Carmelo, Wade, Bosh, Kaman and even Hinrich. But he's made some bold moves too. Trading for Rasheed that helped win the title. Firing a coach in Rick Carlisle (who had back-to-back 50-win season) to bring in Larry Brown. And Brown led them to the title and another Finals appearance. Overall Dumars has been good.

You don't understand, do you. I said Joe Dumars would call you an idiot to demonstrate that anyone can use anyone else opinion to support their own opinion. I said that to show you how twisted that logic is. What makes one opinion stronger than another is having evidence to support that opinion. You seem unable to grasp this concept.

Lately he has been shaky though. In my opinion Paxson is better than Dumars, but whatever. He still would of been able to sign Villanueva or Gordon if he wanted to. Pistons could of went somewhere this season because they could of acquired Stoudamire too if they had Billups because they could of given up Stuckey then

Overall yes, but he is on a losing streak, and when GMs go on losing streaks, they can destroy a team. I have no doubt of his acumen as a basketball man. However, his last idea blew up in his face, and if he doesn't trade Hamilton before the season starts, and get a good big man, he will have put his team in position to be a decent team that never contends, but also too good to significantly help themselves in the draft.
