Never really watched him play so not sure how much of an upgrade he is over Shelton

It would be good regardless to bring in some competition - so someone like a Ryan Kelly while also bringing back Shelton.

They need to improve the starting OL, but they also need to improve the depth.

He's one of those guys who was close to elite a few years ago but looks like he's starting to decline over the last couple season. Will be 32 this year which is not necessarily old for C but I think this is would be a high risk singing and you'd need a good backup.

I don't know who needs to read this, but Coleman Shelton was ass last season. I think I'll pass on watching him get blown up every other snap.

Yeah, that is why I would want to bring in someone else. But, Shelton can still be a good depth piece. I would rather have Shelton than say Kramer as the backup C.

Meh....Give me a healthy Ryan Bates or someone else who can play C/G and maybe even T in a pinch rather than keeping Shelton around when he can really only play Center.

Much prefer dalman but if dalman isn’t available, Kelly is a decent fall back option.

Forget who, but I was watching one of those "I watch tape" guys ... so take it with a grain of salt.

His claim was that while Dalman was a better run blocker he was getting blown up worse than Shelton on passing plays.

IF you believe in PFF, he's barely an upgrade over shelton in pass protection, if he even is.

Either way I seen shelton get blown up enough they need to have a different option there next year
